Koh Tao(Turtle island in Thai ) is located about 38 km from Koh Pangan and 58 km from Koh Samui.This small island is well known and one of the most favorites places for diving.Actually it`s one of the worlds cheapest places to dive and  the second cheapest place to learn to dive.

The economy of the island is almost exclusively centred around tourism attractions, especially Scuba Diving.

Ko Tao is named (Tao=means Turtle in Thai ) after the island's turtle-like geographic shape.
